It takes just a few seconds to implant the chip and most animals will not feel any pain at all. Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Ferrets can be microchipped in the comfort of your own home. I also travel up and down the country to many of the Championship dog shows throughout the year. It can be arranged to microchip your dog(s) at shows or if you live on my route home, I can stop in at your home and chip your pets in their own environment.

What is a Microchip?
A tiny, glass, inert capsule which is slightly bigger than a grain of rice, containing an identification number linking you to your pet
How does it work?
If the unthinkable happens and your pet wanders away - a vet, rescue centre or dog warden will use a small hand-held scanner to detect the microchip number. This number is registered with PetLog, the national central database run by The Kennel Club. PetLog will confirm your contact details and you will be reunited with your pet.
Where is the implant site?
Under the skin between the shoulder blades.
How long will it take to implant the microchip?
Just a few moments! By the time you complete the PetLog registration form, your pet will be protected by the latest I.D technology.
How Long does registration last?
Your pet is registered for life.
Do you have travel plans?
If you plan to travel abroad your pet MUST have a microchip to comply with the regulations.
