The number of correct harsh coats could have been counted on one hand. This is an important breed point and needs attention. Also, there were some weak rear ends which spoilt the hind movement. Perhaps attention to their exercise regime is needed.
PD(9) A lovely class of promising puppies. 1 Court's Ballyheige Burretiokentia. Masculine head, good neck into shoulder, ribbed well back, shapely quarters, sufficient bone, moved on a smooth stride. 2 Hawksby's Benboee Beguiling At Delahawk. Very smart. Pleasing shape and is well balanced. Liked his head, neck, forechest, good legs and feet, well set on tail, held his topline on the move. 3 Brown &Davies' Gamebourne Dark Indulgence.
GD(1) 1 Jones' Barleyarch Drummer. Well developed dog, masculine head, good depth, strong topline, good legs and feet, powerful mover. Would prefer a lower tail carriage when moving.
PGD (4) 1 Harwood's Barleyarch Thrupence. Masculine dog of good build. Typey head, moderate neck, plenty of depth, firm topline and quarters, well off for body, sound and powerful on the move. 2 Dynmond's Friarsbelle Marsh Mellow. Liked his head and neck, has good depth, shown in good coat, not as positive in hind movement as ideal.
LD(6) 1 Lisle's Barleyarch Rolex. This is a shapely and well built balanced dog, very masculine head, muscular neck, flowing into a correct front assembly, well ribbed back with short couplings, plenty of depth and well muscled quarters, moved on an effortless ground covering stride. Res CC. 2 Graham's Winterwell Jelly Bean With Nyliram. Ticked dog who also has quality, masculine head, strong clean neck, good angles fore and aft, well off for body, powerful quarters, sound flowing movement. 3 Thompson's Redmires High Society.
OD 1 Drysdale's Ch Barleyarch Farthing At Drysika. Quite a lovely dog, has the shape, balance, size and movement, shown in excellent body tone and condition, powered round the ring, won an easy CC. 2 Tarrant's Pawnic Saxon. Judged this dog several years ago and he is maturing well. Nothing to change at this stage. Another who scored in movement. 3 Rose &Gaffney's Sh Ch/Dutch Ch Kavacanne Toff At The Top.
PB(8) 1 Court's Ballyheige Bocconia. BP. 2 Knowles &Glen's Wilholme Sharp N Smart At Bessalone. Two lovely puppies who impressed. Typical puppy movement. Both shown in excellent condition. 3 Heath's Barleyarch Ladybird At Pinseeker. JB(4) 1 HinchcliffeGoosepoint Eiderdown. Very promising bitch, liked her head, neck, depth, ribbing, topline and body properties. Sound and free on the move. 2 Staley's Jomeel Kissantell. Lovely head, good ear, topline, depth bone and feet. Covered plenty of ground on the move. 3 Rose's Kavacanne Blowin A Gale.
GB(2) 1 Waddell's Magregor Fluffernutter. 2 Mellor's Kenxiam Comanche. Two very similar bitch and were close up. First just had the edge today. PGB 1 Brown's Barleyarch Tigernut At Graygees. Lovely shape and quality, so well balanced, lovely head shape, scored in neck and shoulder placement, good body, deep and short backed, correct rear end, excellent movement. 2 Lockett's Winterwell Bobbie Dazzler Of Fayemm. Another lovely bitch. Loved her head, has a good reach of neck, well off for body and condition, just moved closer behind than ideal. 3 Hinchcliff's Goosepoint Beluga.
LB(5) 1 Izard's Goosepoint Chincapin. Lovely type and balance, shown in very good condition, excellent movement. 2 Glen &Shield's Wilholme Saucy Brown. This liver bitch was somewhat unsettled, she has a feminine head, good neck, depth and topline and is well bodied. Not as positive on the move as first. 3 Pudney's Stairfoot Skye.
OB(7) 1 Harris' Sh Ch Barleyarch Piper. Superb type, construction, balance and movement. That says it all really. CC and BOB. 2 Grant's Stairfoot Snigger. Another bitch of correct proportions. Looked as though she could work all day. Well constructed and shown in fit, hard condition. Close, harsh coat, sound flowing driving movement. Res CC. 3 Waddell's Sh Ch Magregor Schokolade.
