Southern Counties
Its been a while since I last judged so thank you to the exhibitors for a lovely entry both in numbers and quality, I was really spoilt for choice with the bitches which enabled me to have a fab line up at the end making it a difficult decision. In general, coats have improved dramatically mostly short and harsh as they should be, I only found 1 bad bite and the majority of dogs were in hard condition.
Not the slightest bit surprised to see who some of my winners were sired by and I know the girls take some of the credit but with stud dogs like these around we should be seeing lots more quality dogs into the future.

1 Powell and Tarrants Malmelsa Romancing Romeo at Pawnic
Nice young man with time on his side. Balanced head with dark eye, good length of neck fitting neatly into well place shoulders. Correct depth of chest for age, well angulated rear end, moved well once settled and had nice harsh coat.
2 Brown and Davies Gamebourne Dark indulgence
Smart puppy, nice dark liver colour and dark kind eye, good forechest, nice topline and tailset, not quite the bone of the winner but a nice pup none the less.

l/w medium sized balanced short coupled dog with good head and eye colour. Enough forechest and depth of chest. Good angulation and good coat moved well when settled. Should grow on well.

1 Grants Goosepoint Dipper from Stairfoot
Beautiful striking balanced l/w dog of good size with plenty of bone without being coarse. Moved with drive and had a good harsh coat, So much to like about him and pushed hard for the CC. should do well in the future definitely one to look out for. Was not surprised to see who his sire was.
2 Mould and Birds Koolwaters Cream Cracker
As in his name he is a cracker, although little longer than I would like, very nicely put together dog and handled very well.

1 Serpa and Griffiths Barleyarch Trumpeter
Lovely balanced square dog, correct head shape with kind dark eye, good reach of neck flowing into well placed shoulder with good angulation fore and aft, nice bone and tight feet and moved freely with purpose. Stood alone but would hold own in a bigger class, coming on nicely.

1 Whitings Ranger two Roedale
Typical GSP head, reachy neck with good shoulders and tight elbows, perhaps a touch long for me good rear angulation but was giving handler a hard time which affected his movement.
2 Dymonds Friarsbelle Marsh Mellow
Nice head on this dog, good neck and depth of chest, level topline and good rear angulation, not as free on the move as I would like.

Striking l/w dog of good shape. Good GSP head, Correct shoulder/upper arm, well angulated quarters, little unsettled on the move, but kept topline

1 Wrights Crumleigh Magic Max
And he worked his magic on me. Lovely masculine dog with good bone, nicely balance square shape and definitely looks fit for function. Balanced head with good dark eye. Strong neck, chest well down. Super rear angulation and moved easily round the ring on a long free stride. Happy to award him the CC his second I understand and hope the third is just around the corner.

Another good dog similar in size and quality to the winner just slightly longer cast than I would have liked, moved well with good reach and drive

Lovely mature boy, good head with parallel plains dark eye, strong neck into well placed shoulder with good shoulder/upper arm ration. Good deep chest and correct rear angulation. Shown in good hard condition and moved effortlessly round the ring at one with handler.
2 Mann and Rodens Sh Ch Valger Nearco from Keigame
Strong masculine boy with good bone and flowing lines good forechest and good depth of chest.strong over the loin nicely tightangulated rear end which powered him round the ring

Eye catching l/w dog of correct size. Nicely balanced with a typical GSP head and dark eye, clean strong neck, well placed shoulder, chest well down, level topline which he kept on the move. Handled well.
2 Cottons Winterwell Miss Tified
Nicely balanced girlie with pretty feminine head good dark eye. Elegant neck and well laid shoulder. Good front and nice depth of chest all in all a neat package. Moved out well.
3 Remedy Smiths, Jennaline Hugh Dunnit
Nice dog of good type, beautifully handled and at one with owner. Just slightly heavier in the head than I would like.

1 Rose and Hunts Kavacanne Gale Force Wind nice head shape. Clean neck in to shoulder which was Ok .good strong hindquarters and moved well on good tight feet.

Loved this very well put together puppy, pretty typical feminine head with roman nose, clean neck into well placed shoulder good depth of chest, lovely sweeping lines, moved well keeping topline on the move, shown well .. One to watch, my best puppy
2 Desombres Barleyarch Springtail at Braneath
Nice square shaped puppy, still very babyish as a puppy should be, but lots of quality, moved very well and should grow on nicely

1 Downeys Malmelsa Flirty Florianna, maturing nicely with a good harsh coat. Feminine head with good dark eye correct angulation of shoulder and upper arm, good forechest and chest well down to elbow nice sweeping tuck moved out well and true fore and aft with good tailset and topline
2 Knowles and Glens Wilholme Sharp n Smart at Bessalone
Good head and neck, good lay of shoulder, deep chest and good rear angulation, very unsettled on the move.

Slightly bigger than I would like but very well put together, square and balanced with good angulation fore and aft. strong neck and good depth of chest, moved well when settled.

Really liked this girl, she needs time to body up, good clean lines feminine pretty head moves well and has a good harsh jacket. Handler tends to over stretch her at times with makes her look straight in stifle. One to look out for though.

Loved the look of this beautiful feminine girl the second she walked in the ring, eye catching and stylish from the tip of her nose through to the tip of her tail. She covered the ground on a free and easy stride, true coming and going, with a good harsh jacket and in tip top condition, Just my type more than happy to award her the CC and BOB. Shes welcome to come and live in Sussex

Beautiful flowing lines, feminine and not overdone in anyway, very similar to her sister. Of excellent breed type with super clean outline moving with plenty of drive and as one would expect handled superbly well.

Top notch bitch with super profile pretty head with roman nose and lovely melting expression. Clean neck into excellent shoulders, deep chest and well sprung rib nice short back and strong well muscled quarters that enable her to move effortlessly round the ring at one with her handler.
2 Seasham Love Foolosophy JW
Another square old fashioned type bitch of quality with good harsh coat. correct shaped feminine head. Good depth of chest with nice spring of rib, strong over the loin a good turn of stifle, moved with style and drive and a good topline to boot
