Thank you to all the sporting exhibitors who supported me & my placings. A lovely breed & the depth of quality in the bitches was stunning. Bodes well for the future of the breed.

Some lovely dogs had to go cardless today, such was the hair splitting decisions I had to make.

MPD (3,1a) Litter brothers, will swap places many times, I’m sure. 1 Rose’s Kavacanne Morgan It Seems, lovely boy, stood & moved well for a puppy. Scored in head & eye. Good reach of neck into excellent shoulders, best of fronts & depth, sound on the move; 2 Burford’s Kavacanne Morgan You Know, flashier boy, takes your eye, Good profile when stacked & moved well for handler. Excellent hindquarters.

PD (1) 1 Brown & Burns’ Magregor Threesacrowd at Pothouse, 111 months old puppy, going into his rangy stage. Good head & eye, good depth & well muscled quarters, good harsh coat. Looked well powering round the ring to take BP.

JD (4) 1 Hamlin’s Know No Bounds at Nuash, striking boy, so sound when moving, good head & eye shape, strong neck, well angled fore & aft, crisp coat & good tail carriage. Full of character. Nice short coupled; 2 Cooke & Hammond’s Seasham Super Trouper, liked this boy, so typy & spanking condition. Most appealing head, shoulders well laid back, stood nice & square, strode out well. Good bone & feet; 3 Brown’s Pitwit Biddable Sapphire.

ND (3) 1 K No Bounds at N; 2 Wilkinson’s Zarozinia Beinn An Oir, presented a lovely shape when stacked & disappointed when asked to move. Good straight front & depth, coat harsh texture, well muscled; 3 Tudor’s Indijazz Xperience at Brocador.

PGD (7) 1 Stayley’s Keigame Chilli Bean at Jomeel, compact dog, nicely coupled, good head & dark eye, chest down to elbows, straight front & well muscled quarters, moved out strongly; 2 Hamlin’s The Bisto Kid at Nuash, stylish boy, nice size, stood well with lovely muscled rear quarters. Needs to tighten in front yet; 3 Powell & Tarrant’s Malmelsa Romancing Romeo at Pawnic.

LD (11) 1 Lisle & Lisle’s Barleyarch Rolex, strong dog, masculine head & dark eye, excellent coat & condition, shown to perfection, good depth of chest & hard condition; 2 Whiting’s Ranger Two Rodale, stunning boy, most lovely head & kind eye, stacked well & moved soundly, good angles fore & aft. Lost his concentration which cost him the class, another day for him I’m sure; 3 Duncan’s Kavacanne Hun Toint Retreve.

OD (7,1) 1 Harris’ Grand Ch Vjk-myst Goes Like The Wind of Barleyarch, stunning flashy male, most masculine head & clean eye, strong neck into good shoulders, lovely straight front & bone, short coupled, topline kept well on the move, best of coats & well set on tail, stormed round the ring as if he owned it. CC & BOB; 2 Flaherty & Reddyhough’s Sh Ch Isara Kurzhaar Kieser, close up, another flashy male with that look at me attitude. Good dark eye, strong compact body, put down to perfection, moved like a train. RCC; 3 Malin’s Sh Ch Heathermark Irish at Benrae.

VD (3) 1 Adams’ Sh Ch Barleyarch Alvar, quality boy, lovely shape of head & kind eye, best of neck & shoulders, good ribbing & quarters, showed the youngsters how to move, sound as a bell; 2 Potter’s Ivoravon Snow Storm, nice type, good head & expression, moved well, excellent coat, well muscled quarters; 3 Cook & Lamb’s Adhemar Break Of Day.

MPB (1) 1 Rusk’s Marran’s Blue Moon over Booton, lovely head & expression, still raw yet in her development & movement. Lovely condition & harsh coat.

PB (3,1) Litter sisters, both sound & will probably swap places many times. 1 Scott’s Balvenie Buttercup at Alandrapoint, good feminine head & eye, looked well stacked, nicely proportioned, good coat, nice angles fore & aft; 2 Schoneville’s Balvenie Bella, smaller frame but so well constructed. Good head again & dark eye, nicely coupled, best of quarters, good coat texture.

JB (8) 1 Ellis’ Soellis Dirty Gertie, lovely compact girl, looked so elegant stacked, best of heads & eye, reachy neck into well laid back shoulders, elbows straight & tight to chest. Lovely tuck up & best of rear muscled, so sound when asked to move. A whisker away from the RCC. Well handled; 2 Roden’s High High Jingle Bells at Keigame, close up, lovely girl, such a nice shape, good head & eye shape, presented a lovely picture stacked & moved out well; 3 Smith’s Indijazz Young Love at Abbeyaire.

NB (6) 1 H High Jingle Bells at K; 2 Hopkins’ Seasham Dancing Queen, got her act together & moved & stacked well. A lovely size & good coat texture, feminine head & expression; 3 B Bella.

PGB (9,1) 1 Mould, Bird, Hammond & Cooke’s Seasham Indian Sunset over Koolwaters, liked this girls overall conformation, good size, most appealing head, god depth of chest & well muscled, good turn of stifle & harsh coat. Moved soundly fore & aft; 2 Elrington’s Barleyarch Beetle at Tequesta, spoilt for choice in this class. Quality girl, shown & moved to perfection. Lovely topline kept well on the move. Good head & neck; 3 Gain & Dixon’s Kavacanne A Vimto for Molkara.

LB (7) Two lovely girls here, hard to choose in this class. 1 Drew’s Cushatlaw Illustrious, most appealing head & eye, picture book when stacked, well angulated shoulders & ribs, well muscled & in spanking condition. Coat excellent & harsh. At one with handler. RCC; 2 Rose’s Kavacanne Blowin A Gale, close up, most appealing feminine head, good arched neck into correct shoulders, chest nice & deep, lovely compact shape, moved so soundly; 3 Duncan’s Kavacanne Gale Storm.

OB (7,2) 1 Thurm’s Valger Odette, stunning, elegant girl, nothing overdone, most feminine picture stacked & moved out strongly. Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, lovely topline on the move, well muscled quarters & carried tail correctly. Handled to perfection. For the CC didn’t have to look twice to see which was the dog & which was the bitch. A credit to the owners. CC; 2 Dawson & Walker’s Jolicoem Lalique, unfortunate to meet 1. A lovely girl, good head & eye, nicely proportioned, good muscles & crisp coat, good depth to rib, very sound; 3 Mould & Bird’s Koolwaters Calamity Jane.

VB (3) 1 Gardiner’s Kilnrae Gretel, loved this old girl, expression just oozed character. Looked lovely stood & moved like a train. Headed a good class of veterans. Very sound; 2 Cotton’s Winterwell Miss Tified, good compact girl, stood & shown well, very sound fore & aft, loved her head; 3 Dawson & Walker’s Sh Ch Jolicoem Apache Tear.
